| Current signed passport | Utility bill issued within the last three months |
| Original birth certification (if all other photo id's are unavailable) | Local authority council tax bill for the current council tax year |
| Current UK or EEA photo card driving licence | Current UK driving licence (but only if not used for the name evidence) |
| Photographic registration cards for self-employed individuals in the construction industry CSCS card. | Bank, building society or Credit Union statement or passbook |
| Benefit book or original notification letter from benefits agency | Original mortgage statement from a recognised lender issued for the last full year |
| Firearms or shotgun certificate | Solicitors letter confirming recent house purchase or land registry confirmation of address |
| Residence permit issued by the Home Office to EEA nationals on sight of own country passport | Council or housing association rent card or tenancy agreement for the current year |
| National Identity card bearing a photograph of applicant | Benefit book or original notification letter from Benefits Agency (but only if not used for the name evidence) |
| Inland Revenue self-assessment or tax demand | |
| Electoral Register entry |
